The store floor
Moving it, and getting it right.
- The item dashboardSearch an item and see its shelves, its supplier, its minimum, its price and its history.
- In, out and acrossGoods received onto a rack, issued to the shop floor, and carried from shelf to shelf or godown to godown.
- Stock takingA counting sheet for every shelf, printable, then corrected in bulk with Stock Update.
- Adjustment and conversionWrite stock up or down against a reason, or consume one item to produce another.
The valuation
First in, first out, and into the accounts.
Stock is valued from the layers it arrived in, so its age and its cost are read from the same place. The closing stock reaches the trading account as an entry, not as a figure somebody copies across.
- Stock AgeingHow old the stock on hand is, read off the first-in-first-out layers.
- Party and HSN turnoverWhat each party bought and sold, and turnover gathered by HSN and rate.
- Item profitWhat each item sold for, what it cost, and the margin between. 3V
