Features/Accounting and the ledger
One ledger, every year.
A continuous double-entry ledger, with the masters it needs, the vouchers you key, and every statement that reads off it. No balance is typed in: each one is worked out from the entries, every time you look.

Keying the day.
Straight down the screen, from the keyboard, with the mouse there if you want it.
- Voucher FeedingJournal, contra, receipt and payment entries on one screen, each kind a function key away.
- Receipts and paymentsMoney in and out against a party. You key the party and the amount; the double entry is derived.
- Against the bill it paysA receipt can be put against the invoices it settles as you key it, so outstanding ages bill by bill.
- The voucher listEvery voucher in a date range, with its legs and its totals, to find anything you keyed.
On menu 1
The masters behind it.
The chart, the people you trade with, and the rules the entries follow.
- Heads and partiesEvery ledger grouped as a balance sheet reads, and customers and suppliers with their GSTIN, state, bank details and TDS rates.
- Opening balancesWhat each account opened at on the first day of the year, posted as real entries rather than numbers in a box.
- Cost centresDepartments, shops or projects to file entries under, and a profit and loss for each.
- Voucher types and seriesThe books entries are numbered in, and what each number reads as on paper.
Across the years
A year is a range of dates, not a copy of the books.
Nothing is copied at the year end and nothing drifts between years. The year you are working in is chosen from the title bar, and a closed year stays closed.
- Books Close EntryMoves a year's sales and expenses into Profit & Loss with real entries, and locks the year. 2Z
- Fixed assetsThe register, the year's depreciation posted, and the profit or loss on a sale or disposal.
- An audit trailWho created, edited or deleted what, and from what value to what. It cannot be turned off.
